Putting together a feel good single titled “Good Morning to Mount Warning”, the duo of Sentinel are crafting some seriously compelling music. Read on for our full in-depth look at the track, as well as a background on these artists.

Made up of Jasper Reilly and Geoff Minter, the project of Sentinel is one that aims to tell invigorating stories on top of upbeat instrumentation crafted to boost all positivity. On their latest, “Good Morning to Mount Warning”, the duo has detailed the 1100-metre-high, beautiful walk to the summit through rainforest communities. As great of a story it is, the entire package of the song is great! You must check it out as soon as you can.

What we’re loving so much about this duo is the split duties between the two. While Geoff works to communicate the lyrics, Jasper was in charge of creating the intricacies of the composition. Together though, they’re the yin and yang of music all the while their talents really speak for themselves. For us, the song flew right by as we got lost in the story and the strumming acoustics. By the end, all we really wanted to do was hit the play button again to achieve those initial musical highs.

What’s even better is that this was only their first single as a duo, which hopefully means they’re working on more as we write this. What the world certainly needs more of are tracks like this that have that genuine sense to it. You can feel the happiness come through in the vocal delivery and really the vibrance of it all is what will sell anyone on their music going forward. Truly, we’ve got nothing but positives to point out here.
