Fresh off the release of his newest single “The Morning After”, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Scooter Page all about the finer details of the song’s release. Please check out our full interview below.
Actor, singer, songwriter, and multi-talented performer Scooter Page has once again treated his fans to another lovely single titled “The Morning After”. Giving us all a glimpse of what’s to come with an impending album, he’s certainly lifted our hype levels with this monstrosity of a rocker. During our extended chat with the artist, he gave us all the in’s and out’s of not only the creation process of the single, but its meaning, a look into his future releases, and so much more. It was an absolute pleasure to get to talk to him and we sincerely hope everyone checks out this discussion.
Having been quite prolific going on near 25 years of making music and releasing albums, Scooter’s most recent record was 2021’s DANCAPAGELECTROLAND, in which now we’re hearing a sonic shift in both style and genre. It was a memorable part of conversation, getting to hear about his forward trajectory in instrumentation, but by the sound of it, fans can expect a heaping dose of pure rock and roll in the near future. With his release schedule preparing to share a handful of singles down the line prior to the album’s release, we’re confident in our message that now is the time to dip your toes in and explore the rest of Scooter Page’s deep discography.
As for “The Morning After”, it’s a near four minute thriller that immediately immerses the listener into a somehow nostalgic yet modernly composed song. Through the elements of his dynamic vocals being backed up by soaring guitars and bombastic drums, it’s a legitimate shot of adrenaline within the first minute. From there on out it only continues to hit the climax of the track until the final notes. Furthermore, Scooter gave us all the background we needed to hear surrounding the themes and origins of what initially inspired it all.
