Out today on August 4th, 2021, Sarah Rae has shared yet again another wonderful single titled “Crimson Rose”. What a beauty! Please read along for our full review of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

Currently based out of Atlanta, GA, Sarah Rae is an independent artist who is translating her immense love for music into a growing catalog of songs that we’ve quickly come to love. On her newest single “Crimson Rose”, the artist has channeled a bit of the 80’s and added a large helping of synthesizers in a slight change of sound that we’re welcoming with open arms. Without a doubt, this is a single that we recommend you dive into immediately.

Following up her recently released track “Poison Ivy”, we’re adoring the stylistic changes on “Crimson Rose” as it has showcased another side to Sarah Rae that we can’t help but want more of. After signing with Bentley Records earlier in 2021, it’s been nothing but a consistent flow of successful and artistically inclined singles that also deserve a spin of their own. There’s a little to uncover in her music, so don’t just stop at her latest.

This dream pop princess is flipping musical genres and not sticking to one thing, something we wholeheartedly adore about her and artists these days. Instead of pigeon holing herself into doing one thing, the experimentation is running endless and giving her a chance to branch out to different musical communities that are ultimately going to follow along for more. Whether you’re a fan of shoegaze, pop punk, or dreamy sounding tunes, Sarah Rae’s got you covered.

While keeping this relatively spoiler free, “Crimson Rose” takes chances as a whole, but far and away Sarah’s voice is the star of the show. The more we keep coming back to her music, the more we keep realizing that it doesn’t matter the genre she picks as long as the vocal presence is there to back it up. “Crimson Rose” has done just that and we can confidently name it yet another winner in her catalog.

It would probably be best to compare and contrast by checking out everything else she’s made, which is why we’ve made it easier than ever to listen because we’ve included all the links below to do so. You can also follow along on her social media for the latest news. Enjoy!
