Adding onto an already impressive discography, Saahas has made his return with an all new EP, The Grays. Read on with us for our full featured review of his record.

Released in March of 2021, Saahas has put forth an incredibly genre diverse record that’s going by the name of The Grays. Coming in at 5 full and complex tracks, spanning around 20 minutes, this short but sweet EP sucked in almost immediately and left us feeling quite satisfied with the artist’s work and accomplishment.

Right at the front of this write up, we’ve got no choice but to recommend this. It’s something we’d definitely be listening to and enjoying in our free time, which goes to show that Saahas has done a great job here. We suppose it could be classified as indie rock, but there’s also so many more subtle genres that peak their way in throughout the listen. Little bits of jazz guitar, swirling pianos, and some pop-centric backing beats as well.

The real star of the show by far was the artist’s vocals and delivery. Not only is the production incredibly smooth sounding on a complete listen, but the warmth that Saahas’ voice provides is like a tight warm blanket in the middle of winter. Even though the vocals are warm, this is definitely the type of record that we’re going to be listening to during a hot summer. It’s got certain outdoor qualities to it that have it primed for a beach day, top down driving, or just general music listening as a whole.

It would be fairly difficult to stop and pick a favorite song, so we’ll just suggest you click play and start at the beginning. The opener “Living In A Dream” is the perfect encapsulation of what The Grays has to offer, so if you enjoy that track, you’ve got every reason to listen on and take in the rest. Truly though, the artist has really put together something genuine and unique here that isn’t a regurgitation of everything else being done in music at the moment.

The point being here is that this is for sure a record you should not be missing out on. The Grays is out and ready to be listened to! For all things Saahas, to listen, and to follow along with future releases and information, please check out the following links below.
