For those potentially out of the loop on Riki, she’s effortlessly putting together an impressive mix of her patented pitch perfect synth-pop. Seriously, she’s managed to create mega fans out of us with her newest single “Marigold”. Accompanied by a music video for a track that surely brings the song to impressively higher levels, we can’t help but overwhelmingly recommend everything she’s made. Directed by Muted Windows and featuring the album’s co-producer and track’s featured vocalist Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), the entire package of “Marigold” has been a flawless execution in exactly what to do when releasing music. Even better, she’s actually got an upcoming tour supporting Choir Boy in 2022. Jet setting around North America and kicking off March 15 in Denver, we know for the absolute fact we’ll be catching her when she comes around.
Infusing a dose of nostalgia and mixing the old with the modern in a tasteful take, we have a sneaking suspicion this isn’t the last you're going to hear from RIki. With so much on the way in terms of big releases and surprises galore, we hope that your journey into her music starts with “Marigold” but certainly doesn’t end there.
