Long awaited, but finally arrived, Renraku Global’s massive and genre-spanning compilation record INFOHAZARD is here and available to listen. Please keep reading for our full breakdown on the album, as well as a closer look into these talented artists.

Freshly released on September 16th, 2022, Renraku Global’s compilation record INFOHAZARD has seen its official drop, and it’s simply everything we could have hoped for. Those out of the loop though on what exactly it is, you’ll find 12 different artists highlighting one song each for the ultimate introduction not only into a new world of music, but a power move from Renraku displaying all the talents familiar to their brand and collective. Of course, we’re urging everyone out there to give this a spin as soon as possible.

Let us brief you before you dig in, what you’re about to experience is 12 separate artists with all of their musical roots stemming from electronic music, but in a realm that shows you what exactly is possible within an ever changing genre. The initial concept from Renraku was in the works for quite some time, but at the end of the day this compilation is serving as the ideal introduction to what exactly the future of music looks like in the landscape that allows artists to pursue their creativities and continuously push boundaries. Through 12 total tracks that span right around 45 minutes, you’re thrown back and forth between styles and subgenres, but we’ve found it to be the perfect way to discover more and do deep dives on what you liked the most.

As for the actual music itself, well, it’s quite difficult to break down each and every artist, however we do feel that the tracklisting was an important decision maker on how this flows. Kicking it off in the first three were sv1, Nu Partial, and Vhsceral, who all have dynamic sounds of their own but are completely separated by the intricacies of their production. Having now listened through this record multiple times, we’ve found it to be the ideal entry point for someone who may not have enough electronic music knowledge in their repertoire. You receive these little samples and continue to do exploration as the music goes on. Renraku is obviously extremely capable of picking winners, but at the end of the day, electronic music is variable to the listener’s preferences. With that being said though, we would recommend everyone listen through once and make notes during the process, then pick out your favorite artists and see what else they’ve got to offer!

So for now, do yourselves a favor and please check out the links below to listen, follow along, and of course to keep up with all major updates. Enjoy!
