A smooth and inspired piece of Hip Hop music, Prime Sinister has completely nailed it on his newest track, “Barium”. Please read on for an in-depth analysis of the single, in addition to a background on this growing artist.

Giving listener’s a necessary taste of what’s to come on his upcoming second album Long Live Syllablism, Prime Sinister’s newest single “Barium” is everything we could have wanted in an inevitable follow up. It achieves so much so quickly with its unique lyricism, original beats, and a wonderful production to round things out as a whole. You get a glimpse into the artist’s life thematically and it’s why we’ve got to urge everyone out there to give this one a listen as soon as humanly possible.

With the help of Thomas Cullison (Ye, Pharrell) on the mixing and mastering and a music video in the works from Kaylym Dennis, the team that Prime Sinister has put together is the definition of top notch. Such great music deserves the best in order to get the right ears on it, but it’s also a major reason why we’re giving our sincere recommendation. The artist is doing things different lyrically, using his style called “Syllablism” which according to him is the “use of syllables to rhyme”. It’s something we were unfamiliar with prior to exploring his music, but now knowing, it’s hard to want anything other than this given its true differences to the craft of Hip Hop.

Coming in at just under four minutes in complete run time, what “Barium” does best is paint a picture through imagery-filled lyricism. While a music video is on the way, everything here is so vibrant that you can almost create a video in your head just imagining it all go down. The richness and easiness through Prime Sinister’s flow and delivery are also ridiculous, to the point that you feel like you’re floating on a cloud with his words. We mentioned the beat, and it is impressive, but we’d be lying if we said that the emphasis isn’t on this artist giving 100% energy into everything else.
