NX2 build the hype on their debut single, "Love On Replay"
On their debut single titled “Love On Replay”, consider us incredibly impressed with the output from the all new duo, NX2. Read on for our full review and in-depth analysis of the track, as well as insight into these artists.
At only 14 years of age, we can confidently claim that NX2 are off to an incredibly hot start with their debut single, “Love On Replay” that was produced by Niyah Lindsey. Currently based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, these two have music in their blood considering they’re the nephews of K-Ci and JoJo. Seeing as though they’re just getting started, and already have plans for even bigger things on the way, we sincerely suggest you check out their track as soon as you can.
Coming in at even two and a half minutes, our only real complaint here is that we wish it were longer! In all seriousness though, they’ve really put forth a flawless and fresh sounding R&B track that could definitely be described as a slow jam that’s got a true laid back vibe to it at all. With a debut EP planned for this coming October, we’re thrilled to see what else they’ve got in the works and how similar or different it is to this single.
So many problems in our eyes that come from duos is the power struggle of one doing too much or the other not doing enough. Immediately what we noticed here was the even distribution of sound and that each member got their chance to shine in the mix. As mentioned, at only two and a half minutes in run time, this will definitely be the type of track we’ll be relistening to capture that initial greatness of the first time through. There’s so many redeeming qualities, the hype is real for October.
