If you’re ready to have a good time, we suggest you immediately dive into Nubella Honey’s debut album Sagittarius! We got the special opportunity to sit and speak to her all about the record too. Check out our interview below!

For those out of the loop, Nubella Honey is a modern Pop and Funk artist originally from North Carolina, who just recently made the move to sunny San Diego, California. Delivering our favorite album of the year so far, the infinite love and passion that flows through her debut Sagittarius is exactly the positivity we need in our lives. While of course we suggest you give this record a listen as soon as you can, our interview with the artist was next level amazing and is not to be missed either.

What is ultimately the perfect fusion of Pop, Funk, and Rock & Roll, is a jam-packed fun time that just gets better on each and every listen. Keeping the run time under 30 minutes was the ideal stylistic choice in our eyes, mainly because it gives the listener the opportunity to play this when you need that quick jolt of energy and dopamine. Every song sort of takes on its own its own atmosphere, but one of our cooler discoveries from Nubella is that the collaborators on here are extremely talented musicians who have helped to bring these songs even more to life.

Of course we had some standout favorites for playlist purposes like “Righteous Man”, the title track “Nubella Honey”, and “Suga”. With that being said though, this album has that certain cohesive feel to it that really builds by starting from the beginning and letting it run through untouched. You quickly become familiar with all the styles and rhythms, but it also unveils just how much emotion and time went into it. Getting to speak with Nubella was legitimately the highlight of this whole experience, but the fact that the music can hold its own really says something else.

Enough words for now though, please do yourselves a huge favor and get into this record as soon as you can! We’ve included all the links below in order to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else on the way. Enjoy!
