Nora Lilith shares intimate and lush new single, "Misfed"
A true piece of art in every form of the word, Nora Lilith has just put forward an incredibly captivating new single titled “Misfed”. Do yourselves a favor and read along for our analysis of the track, as well as a background on the artist.
Mysterious, suspenseful, and ultimately bone chilling, Nora Lilith’s sophomore single “Misfed” is a winner in our eyes. Originally one half of indie electronic project NÄM, Nora has decided to take the solo path and it is already paying off in droves. On this newest single featuring M-Cubed, the artist is reinventing the term stripped back and introducing audiences to a new slice of alternative music.
With even more music on the way (yes!), it’s been quite some time since a song like this has enamored us so quickly. A warning and a message before you dig in, we highly recommend a nice pair of headphones or sound system to listen to this song with. There were so many atmospheric and production subtleties that you might miss out on, it also makes the entire experience a lot more intimate.
On to the song though, Nora Liilith has captured a lo-fi electronic ambiance that is going to be hard to match as she continues to share her new music. Considering that “Misfed” appears to be her second released single thus far, we had to do a side by side comparison with the debut “Button”. While we certainly loved “Button” as it was a bit more vibrant at times, the absolute focus that “Misfed” made us feel was unmatched.
Something that we’re definitely excited for in the coming months is getting to hear which direction this artist takes her sound. From the bopping bass lines in “Button”, to the harmonious moments in “Misfed”, we can’t wait to take this ride with Nora Lilith wherever it may take us. The talent is clearly unprecedented and this is a musician that we’ll be keeping a close eye on.
