Nate Myles delivers perfection on newest single, "Trouble"
With only a few singles released so far, Nate Myles has managed to impress us beyond belief on his newest, “Trouble”. Read along with us as we share our thoughts on the track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Born and raised in South Florida, music has been ingrained in Nate since the age of 9. Being active in his church choir, singing in competitions, and more, it propelled him to kick off his solo career about 5 years back. Influenced by artists such as Frank Ocean, Troye Sivan, Daniel Caeser, and Sza, his overall sound has absolutely encompassed those talents, but he’s also managed to add a spin of his own.
At under three minutes in total runtime, Nate Myles immediately packed as much greatness into one song as humanly possible. With a production that had the potential to be the most impressive part of the song, it wasn’t long until the vocals entered that immediately made us rethink that thought. Between the vocal delivery, booming bass, and production effects, it’s no doubt in our minds that thsi song is an absolute winner.
One thing we’re extremely thankful for is that Nate’s music crossed our path so early in his process of putting out officially released songs. What this means for us is that we get to follow the trajectory of this shining star. Without sounding like we’re fan-girling too hard, but truly honestly do mean what we’re saying. The song took us by surprise in the sense that it beat our wildest expectations. It immediately made us want more.
No rush to the artist, but an EP or an album filled with hits like this would be much appreciated. Comparing it to his other songs released so far, we think that without a doubt, this one has been the best. Not to knock the other ones for being subpar, but the whole package was brought on “Trouble”, and we’re here for it.
I think the point we’re trying to pass off is that the talent is there, but we just need to hear more. Seeing that this track was released so early in 2021, we can only hope that more is on the horizon. Another plus though would be that it usually takes artists years to nail down a preferred or signature sound, but we don’t think any major changes would need to take place or be improved upon. That’s just our opinion, but we hope the artist takes notice!
