Moxko crafts together an upbeat & vibrant track, "Amor"
Released in 2021, but still as fantastic today, Moxko has shared his most recent single release titled “Amor”. We are loving it! Please read on for our full thoughts on the track, as well as a background on this talented artist.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Moxko is a singer and songwriter that has unfortunately struggled throughout his life thus far. However, he’s always lived by the creed of “Music Heals” in which he’s used that motto to ultimately better himself. On his all new single “Amor”, he delicately fused together a wide array of genres that touch on Contemporary R&B, Afrobeats, Reggae, and even a touch of pop for good measure.
At just a tad under three minutes in total length, Moxko wasted no time whatsoever immediately creating a relaxed and laid back vibe on his song. While there are definitely so many inspirations within the instrumentation and production that come through cleanly, our favorite part of the entire song was undoubtedly his crisp vocals. He delivers the lines with a clear passion and love for what he’s doing, and now knowing his back story, each and every line hits just a bit harder.
As soon as we clicked the play button, a true wash of relaxation and calm hit us. We sincerely feel like this song was incredibly versatile in the fact that you could play it at a moment’s notice and the entire room would either get dancing or start to bob their heads. You can certainly play “Amor” at the beach while hanging out, at a party with friends, or simply cruising in the car. Due to its wide reach in sound and style, Moxko has really checked all the boxes for what we consider to be a great song from start to finish. Whatever you do, make sure you don’t miss out on giving it a listen, or further exploring his growing discography.
