On the eve of the premiere of Michel Pascal’s brand new show, Yoganandance, this multi-talented artist was kind enough to drop in for a full interview! Please enjoy our conversation below.

For those potentially out of the loop, Michel Pascal is an internationally acclaimed spiritual and meditation teacher, composer, and singer who’s been quite prolific in everything he’s shared with the world. With an all new single and show of the same name, Yoganandance, Michel did us a huge favor and stopped in to talk all the specifics of how this song and show were born, what listeners and viewers might expect, and his many inspirations that led up to this point. It was an enlightening discussion and we can’t wait for everyone to watch.

Taking place on November 17th, 2022 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, Yoganandance – A Musical to Discover Your Divine Joy and Let Your Soul Bloom, inspired by the pioneering Indian spiritual guru Paramahansa Yogananda, will premiere. Says Michel on the background of it all, “This is going to be an experience unlike anything anybody has seen or felt before. There are many books and documentaries about Yogananda, but our show is something quite special and unique. Yoganandance is a musical celebration of the spirit of Yogananda to engage people to get back to love.”

While we have yet to experience the show prior to its debut, what we have thoroughly enjoyed is the title track, “Yoganandance”. One of the greatest stories that’s ever been told on our podcast was Michel’s close relationship and direct inspiration from the late and great Michael Jackson. You can hear glimmers of the groove and funk through the track, but receiving the full origin story and background on how the song came to be through him was downright incredible. To be honest, and this was mentioned during our chat, but this is easily one of the more non-traditional interviews we’ve experienced. So much spirituality came through in our conversation and truly Michel was a beam of light and burst of joy to our endless laughs and topics of choice. We’re urging everyone to listen to the single and of course grab a ticket if you’re in the Los Angeles area.
