All set for its official release this coming month on August 6th, 2021, Michael Donoghue has let loose his latest, “Landing”. Do yourselves a favor and read along with us as we share our in-depth analysis of the track, as well as a background on the artist.

For those out of the loop, Michael Donoghue is a solo electronic composer and producer who has been consistently crafting up pieces of beauty. Inspired directly by living legends such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, and Jon Hopkins, Michael is certainly bringing his own ingenuity and creative side to the mix. On his soon to be released single “Landing”, he’s infused all of our favorite parts of electronic music.

To begin, we sincerely cannot wait for the moment that you all get to hear this track. As mentioned, it’s not officially released until August 6th, but that doesn’t mean you can’t check out everything he’s released so far. No surprises in the slightest, but there’s plenty of gold to discover as you dig into his discography, especially his most recent release, “Universe Eyes”. With that being said though, let this review serve as the ultimate hype up before a massive music release.

With support on his recently released singles from BBC Introducing, it’s not crazy to say that all of his music is deserving of the praise that it should be getting. Specifically on “Landing”, prepare yourselves for a trance-like experience that’s virtually guaranteed to get you moving, but also keep you focused at the same time. What we loved the most about the song was its versatility to double as a song you could physically dance to in the moment, or even calm yourself down and have on as study music too. Whether that was the intention, we’re not sure, but it certainly worked out in our favor.

Even better, this track “Landing” is the second released single off an upcoming record of Michael’s that’s going to be called Landing. In our opinion, he’s gone 2 for 2 on lead singles to an album that we truly cannot wait to listen to. While you patiently wait for August 6th to come around, do yourselves that favor we mentioned and check out “Universal Eyes” as a precursor to what you’ll get here. For now, listen in, and enjoy!
