On her second ever single titled “Warrior”, Melody Rodriguez has quickly shown just how many talents she holds! Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to sit with the artist and discuss everything you’d ever want to know about the track. Watch our full interview below.
For those somehow out of the loop on Melody Rodriguez, she’s truly proved to be a master of all trades. As a singer, recording artist, writer, and stage actor, this New York-based performer has blown us away with her second single “Warrior”. Described as “Mariah Carey if she sang Sia songs”, we couldn’t possibly agree more with that statement. With help from production on the song from Deverano, the two have collaborated on something that we’ve grown to love immensely.
Not to give too much away here, because we’d obviously prefer for you to check out the interview for yourself, but Melody is an obviously talented individual, but also a serious delight to get to speak to as well. Her talents soar beyond just music and there’s honestly no telling how bright her star will continue to shine as she continues on in the entertainment field in general.
Speaking directly on “Warrior” though, the song itself is superb and every moment was an opportunity for the artist to show off those vocals in a way that’s sure to impress existing and new listeners. Getting to hear all about the background and really what it’s all about was a total treat too. Just by speaking with her, you can really tell the amount of passion, love, and respect she has for music. For so many it’s the only way to express themselves through the lyricism, but really the entire “Warrior” song is a testament to keep telling the stories of women who are just waiting for their internal warriors to come out.
As mentioned, this is Melody Rodriguez’s second single released, so while of course we recommend giving it a listen, you should also check out her debut “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”. You can audibly hear the improvements on the production side but it’s also a memorable vocal performance that’s worth your time and energy to check out too.
