Shredding nonstop from beginning to end, Max Benjamin has completely hit the mark on his debut record, Work. We are loving it! Read on for a closer look into the album, as well as a background on this talented artist.

Based out of Brighton, England, Max Benjamin is a songwriter, producer, and singer that has left everything on the table while in the process of creating his debut album, Work. Leading up to the record with a staggering amount of singles in order to create hype, we’re thrilled to announce that the final product has arrived and it’s surpassed all of our wildest expectations. Incorporating so many subgenres of rock and still managing to find a niche of its own thematically, we can’t help but overwhelmingly recommend a listen to everyone out there.

Written and produced entirely by Max himself, which is insanely impressive in its own right, comes in at 10 total tracks that take you through an emotional, suspenseful, and downright passion-filled performance. We’ve got the feeling that first time listeners might be immediately drawn to the crunchy instrumentation on tracks like “Unstoppable” or “Wicked Ways”, but we’ve come away from our initial listen with a proud feeling knowing that artist put his absolute all into the vocals. So much of the raw energy and love comes directly from his unique cadence and the ultimate fact that his vocals don’t emulate any major artists, rather sound completely unique to their own. We can see a future in which we’re blasting this in the car attempting to sound the same.

Honestly, it’s been quite some time since a record like this so quickly filled us with adrenaline and angst. It’s got that classic alternative rock feel to it, but also somehow makes us nostalgic for some of the bigger acts that came out of the mid-2000’s. We suppose we could attribute that to parts of the production and dynamic moments like on “Dead and Gone”. It transported us to a different time, one where we’d like to go back to. For a debut album coming from a soon to be super known artist, you legitimately cannot ask for more. He’s delivered and then some, which is why we’re urging everyone to listen now.
