Maria Deirisarri experiments on out of the box single, "Diamond"
Displaying a masterclass in production and leading with her expressive vocals, Maria Deirisarri has beyond exceeded our expectations on her single, “Diamond”. Keep reading for a closer look into the track, as well as a background on this artist.
As a rising Latina pop artist who’s delicately blending her culture into her rapidly growing discography, Maria Deirisarry has done it once again on this impeccable new single, “Diamond”. Keeping things relatively stripped back in the instrumentation, but perfectly emphatic during the more intense moments, her latest is an atmospheric journey through space, artistry, and beyond. We feel that she’s somehow managed to level up her preexisting sound from what we’ve enjoyed in the past, moving onwards to a more experimental phase that we adore. Of course, we’re urging everyone to give this a spin as soon as possible.
At only 16 years of age, it’s absolutely astounding how well this composition came to be, and serves as just a glimpse into what Maria will be able to accomplish in the future years. On the background of this all though, ultimately “Diamond” was a song written as a gift to her mother who works as a Gemologist and fine jewelry designer. Maria says, “My mom asks for a new diamond as a gift on any special occasion…. so it’s become a family joke and an excuse to talk and speculate about the beauty and value humanity has assigned to those unique stones, the hardest most coveted crystals representing human’s love, when the love lasts,”.
Considering gems and jewelry are undoubtedly pieces of art, it should come as no surprise whatsoever that Maria has taken things into her own hands and created this type of art as her own. Thinking outside of the box in all facets of this song, it breaks the mold of what “normal” pop music has come to be, etching out something niche for herself in terms of vocal delivery, messaging, and distinct effects. There’s nothing we would change about it in the slightest, and with that being said, we’re once again recommending everyone click the play button immediately.
