Luke Frees continues his hot streak on expressive single, "Strings"
Already having an immensely busy year in terms of single releases, Luke Frees has hit back for more with another stellar single titled “Strings”. We are loving this! Read on as we take a deep dive into the track, as well as a much needed update on the artist.
Luke Frees' latest release, "Strings," is a powerful and emotional ballad that explores the liberating feeling of taking control of your own life in an unhealthy relationship. The song captures those first few moments of clarity that can be so difficult to come by, and the relief that follows. Using his vocals to convey the message and set the tone, he’s masterfully backed up by an inspired instrumentation, diverse with horns and beyond, that create potentially his most well rounded listen yet. We thoroughly enjoyed “If There Ain’t A Heaven”, but this one sent us off to another level.
As part of Luke’s ongoing single-a-month project, "Strings" was actually the first song that Luke wrote, and it's clear that he put everything he had into it. The track is raw, honest, and incredibly personal, and it's evident that Luke was able to tap into a deep well of emotion to create it. With its sonic and grand production, plus those soulful and emotive vocals, "Strings" is a powerful showcase of Luke's talent as a singer and songwriter. The track is a testament to the transformative feel of music and the catharsis that comes with expressing oneself honestly and openly.

There’s honestly a million different ways to convey our feelings for the song, but really in the composition of it all, the leadup to the explosive climax wraps it up the best. You know for a fact there’s more headed our way soon musically, and surely it’s going to be tough to top, but Luke hasn’t let us down yet!
