An outrageous display of inventive production, lush vocals, and beyond, Lucille Croft has hit the mark on an all new EP, The Valentine Effect. Keep reading as we break down the record, as well as give you a background on this talented artist.

The Valentine Effect, the latest release from independent electronic artist Lucille Croft, is a thrilling and unapologetic ride from start to finish. Produced, written, and performed entirely by Croft, this album showcases her range as a producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ, and creative director. Electrifying and pulsating with twists and turns from beginning to end, it’s our sincere honor to be able to recommend such an adventure of art for the world to listen to. We’ve got a sneaking suspicion that you’re going to love it.

Hailing from Australia, Croft draws inspiration from a range of musical influences, including The Prodigy, Grimes, Nine Inch Nails, and Bjork. This diverse range of influences is evident throughout the album, which seamlessly blends elements of EDM, industrial, and pop music into a cohesive and captivating whole. The album's standout tracks include "Bury Me In Leather" which features Croft's haunting vocals over a pulsing beat and a swirling, atmospheric synth line. "Taste of Violence", with its driving bassline and catchy chorus, is a certified dance floor banger that will have listeners moving from the first note to the last.

Overall, this record is a fully-realized vision from an independent artist who refuses to be pigeonholed into any one genre or style. Croft's fearless approach to her music is evident throughout the album, and her commitment to creative independence is truly inspiring. Coming in at just four total tracks that span around 10 minutes, it’s a short burst of adrenaline but one that’s long lasting. There’s so much sonically happening across the runtime that we’ve already come back for subsequent listens and experienced new sounds and styles.  If you're looking for a fresh and exciting take on electronic music, look no further than Lucille Croft's The Valentine Effect.
