Loose T. radiates positivity on catchy single, "No Label"
On her second ever single, Loose T. has put out an instant classic in the form of “No Label”. We are absolutely loving this one! Please read along for our full featured review of the track, as well as a background on the artist as well.
Released in early July 2021, Loose T. has shared the second single in her growing discography titled “No Label”. Released through Pear O’Legs Records, a not-for-profit micro-label supporting music around the UK, this is easily one of the most fun and carefree sounding songs that has crossed our path in a while. If you’re looking for a good time in the form of a song that’s sure to put a smile on your face, look no further, because this one is certainly for you.
Ultimately, the tag line in the song “shave your labels like you want my armpit hair” sums up the feel of the track. In a sense, “No Label” is satirically packaged in a High School Musical-esque candy coating, might just help those ‘labellers’ swallow some truths. As laid back as the song feels in atmosphere, it’s one where we definitely recommend breaking down the lyrics for the true meaning of the message trying to be communicated.
As for the artist, Loose T. is originally from Paris, but now splits her time between London and Edinburgh where it appears she’s on her way to consistently releasing more catchy tunes like this. While the debut single “Brexit” was released on December 31st, 2020, it’s been a little bit of time until this follow up. We do sincerely feel that the musician has delivered, but now we’re going to be anxiously waiting for what arrives next.
Truly, we loved the style and complete uniqueness that Loose T. brought to the vocal delivery and overall cadence. Towards the end we were singing along, dancing around, and having the time of our lives. Even though the song comes in at just under three minutes in length, it’s got the replayability factor that makes you want to stream it over and over again due to the fact that it’s the perfect ball of energy.
