Leo Sawikin's new single "Hold On" is a heartwarming ballad filled with optimism and hope. The New York City-based singer and songwriter worked with legendary Seattle-based producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, The Shins) to create a track that is sure to bring a smile to listeners' faces. While there’s plenty more in the way coming soon enough, our entire conversation with Leo opened the doors to his process, a peek into the future, but ultimately showed off what a talent he really is.
Leo Sawikin burst onto the scene in 2021 with his debut solo album Row Me Away, which produced two tracks that received radio spins in both the U.S. and UK. Sawikin's latest single, "Hold On," is a testament to his growth as an artist, as he co-wrote this one with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lucy Isabel to create a track that is as catchy as it is inspiring. The vocals are for us are the center point and main energy driver of it all, conveying this specific emotion and becoming downright inspiring in their delivered cadence.
