Serving up an acoustic and atmospheric jam for the ages, we’re loving KUSHYKUSH’s latest single, “January”. Please read on for a closer look into the track, as well as a much needed background on this artist.

Further diversifying the pop scene and carving out a unique niche for himself, KUSHYKUSH’s truly genuine style has clearly come through on “January”. With an aim to reinvent the industry and give it a new trajectory, he’s well on his way to doing so with this fresh take of a song. Whether you’re an old fan or just discovering his work for the first time, we highly recommend you start here and hit that play button immediately.

Expertly produced and showing off his incredibly dynamic vocal range in the process, “January” is one of those tracks that feels like the full package of what a good song is meant to sound like. While the artist quickly entices you with a wall of sound in the background and the essence of an acoustic guitar, ultimately the song is led by his voice. Instrumentally speaking, “January” is sort of minimalist, but given the context of it all, we wouldn’t want anything more grand sounding than what was provided. His vocals are an instrument in their own right and fully command the song from start to finish. Whether that was intentional or not, we’re thrilled he made that stylistic choice for the listener.

As it appears that this is his first official release of the year, we can confidently say that we’re astounded by the sheer quality of it. To be honest, this was our first introduction to his music, we undoubtedly it will not be our last. If you’ve yet to listen, please do yourselves a huge favor and do so as soon as you can.

Additionally, we’ve included his social media links so that you can follow along for more. Enjoy!
