Kenny Curcio releases an anthemic new single, "Cut To The Heart"
Jam packed with heart, soul, and endless rhythms, Kenny Curcio has done it once again on his latest single, “Cut To The Heart”. Please read on for a closer look at the track and a much needed background on this emerging artist.
For those out of the loop, Kenny Curcio is a contemporary country singer and songwriter who’s graciously putting his all into each one of his many releases so far. On his newest single “Cut To The Heart”, co-written and co-produced with Mason Douglas, he’s deservingly created a buzz around his genre due to the sheer vibrance that this song is giving off. Needless to say, we’re fans ourselves and can’t wait for everyone out there to give it a stream.
Effortlessly fusing together that nostalgic 90’s country sound with glimmers and an essence of the modern, “Cut To The Heart” has that anthemic aura surrounding it. What we mean is that we instantly envisioned ourselves singing this in a car or at a Kenny concert along with 1000’s of fans. It’s got that certain replayability factor due to its catchiness, but there’s also those bright spots in it that keep you coming back for more. Whether it’s the melodies or a secret sauce he’s bringing into the mix, there’s just something hypnotic about it that we could probably attribute to his inviting yet calm vocal presence. On the surface it feels like your classic country song, but the more you listen, the more subtleties you uncover.
So many sub-genres of country music these days feel divisive amongst die hard fans and those that enjoy the fusion aspect. With that being said though, and not even just on this single specifically, we feel that Kenny’s sound has an all encompassing component to attract a majority of today’s listeners. This song is a great example of that, but we’d also urge everyone out there to do a deep dive on the rest of his growing discography. We did so and it was well worth the time and exploration as there’s plenty of hidden gems ready to be heard.
With all that being said, start out with “Cut To The Heart” and work your way backwards. You can do so by checking out the important links below, in addition to following him on his social media to stay up to date for much more.
