Katie Tich shares a glowing and upbeat single, "Life In This City"

Hoping to see its official release in the coming weeks, we got our ears on Katie Tich’s all new single, “Life In This City”, and we are loving it! Read along with us for our full review of the track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Striving for musical authenticity with the inclusion of blended genres and honest lyricism, Katie Tich got her start young when she first learned to play guitar in the 5th grade. It wasn’t too long that she made the jump to pursue her singer songwriter dreams. While she’s already released two albums so far, she has no plans to stop delivering new music to the world.
Following up her 2020 record, Playing With Fire, we’re absolutely thrilled to see a 2021 follow up coming so soon. Speaking directly on “Life In This City”, our first impressions of the track were just wonderfully upbeat it was. You’ll immediately notice a bit of a country influence on Katie, especially in this song which was a seriously nice evolution in sound from her album. Productionally speaking, the sound was flawless and everything could be heard so perfectly clear. We’d highly recommend giving this multiple listens on a nice pair of headphones or sound system.
Not long after listening through the single a few times, we had no choice but to dig into Katie’s past discography, which to no surprise, is also worth giving all the listens. In order to get the full experience once “Life In This City” sees its official release, both of her past records Playing With Fire and Running with Wolves are available on Spotify.
To really wrap things up, we’re thoroughly impressed with the single and are highly recommending and encouraging a listen. For the indie pop lover who likes a grand voice, diverse instrumentation, and stellar production, this one’s for you. We’re truly hoping that this the first single that will be accompanied with either a new EP or full length record, but we’d never want to rush an artist, so we’ll just keep our sights on “Life In This City” for now.
