Putting his own spin on a classic country sound, Jackson Lake’s latest musical endeavor Lost & Found is downright impressive. Please read on for our full review of the album, in addition to a background on the artist.

Currently making a big name for himself within the UK country music scene, Jackson Lake has proved to be extremely consistent in his quality of music. On Lost & Found, that fact stays true, mainly because it’s another immersive listening experience that expertly borders the line of story and stylistic sound. Whether this genre of music is your thing or not, we undoubtedly recommend you give it a shot based on its artistry and originality.

For Jackson Lake, he’s based out of Leeds at the moment and is no stranger to music in the slightest. With over 20 years as a performer under his belt, that’s got to be the reason you can feel the unbridled power and professionalism all throughout Lost & Found. At 12 total songs, spanning right around 43 minutes in runtime, the artist immediately throws you into the deep end on the opener “Country To Me”. From there on, it only gets better in terms of imagery-filled lyricism, instrumentation, and some fun production flourishments.

We mentioned earlier that Jackson is making waves within the scene, and as of now, the lead single “What Would You Say” actually reached #1 on the UK Itunes Country Chart. As impressive a feat as that really is, it’s more well deserved than anything. Country continues to be sort of a divisive genre nowadays with so much fusion coming into it all, but from our standpoint, each song on Lost & Found is its own little world of pure.

Of course we had some favorite songs such as “Take Comfort”, “Except For Blue”, and “All We Need Is A Road”, but a thought we’ll leave you with is this is a super cohesive record, meaning you should definitely listen from front to back. There isn’t a single skippable moment and it all is just so filled up with redeemable moments. Sincerely, you’ve got to check this one out now.
