For those unaware, 13 year old Jackson Dollinger is a singer and songwriter who combines pop, trap, and other blended genres of music into his overall sound. The young actor and musician already stars in the popular Disney Channel Original Series, “Sydney to the Max”, which leads us to believe that he can truly do it all!

Without a doubt, Jackson Dollinger is a multifaceted performer, but in this case, we’d love to focus on his music release. After releasing his two singles, “I’m Yours” and “Reflection”, the obvious next step was for the artist to follow up with something big, in the form of an EP. Building off the base of pop that he saw success with last year in 2020, 2021’s release is looking to be his biggest and best yet. Forming a cohesive sound and overall brand for himself is something that he’s already proven he’s capable of, so we have no doubts the audience is going to love Social Isolation.

Now that Jackson’s EP has finally seen the light of day, we can confidently confirm that it’s everything we’d hoped it would be. At 4 songs in length, spanning just a little under 10 minutes, it’s the perfect energy boost for your day. Right from the get go, it kicks off with an incredibly high BPM that barely lets up throughout.

Specifically on the opener “Golden Hour”, Jackson kicks things into overdrive with his smooth sounding vocals that truly showcase his range and emotions. Productionally speaking, Social Isolation is flawless in every way possible. Near every second of the listen is filled with flourishing atmospheric sounds that tie together the overall vibe of the EP as a whole. As “high energy’ as we’d consider it, it could also serve the purpose of kicking back and relaxing while listening. In a sense, it’s multifaceted in its efforts that there isn’t an occasion where it wouldn’t be appropriate to turn this on. Considering it’s only about 10 minutes in length anyway, it’s noncommittal in the sense that you don’t have to book an hour of your time to listen.

While we don’t want to give too much away here, because we’d prefer you listened for yourself, there isn’t a single piece of filler on Social Isolation. What that means basically is that as an artist, Jackson put his whole self forward and really only committed to putting out greatness instead of a full length LP that could have had the potential to be too long or clunky. Any set or setting would be appropriate for a listen, and with that being said, we’re highly recommending and suggesting all take a listen when possible. It’s meaningful, substantial in its context, and shows immense potential for what Jackson will be able to conquer and create in the future.
