Based out of a small town near Atlanta, Georgia, this singer and songwriter is legitimately one of the most impressive 13 years old we’ve reviewed in quite some time. It’s no surprise in the slightest, but “It’s a Country Girl Thing” is 100% a song that we need to recommend you listen to.
Crafting music and lyrics that are way beyond her years, Hartline was discovered by Off The Row through her social media sometime in 2020. Since then, she’s been named a Breakout Artist, has already released a handful of successful singles, and has more music cooking up to keep old fans and new ones at bay. As new fans ourselves, we’ll surely be listening to anything new that has Isabella Hartline’s name on it!
Comparing and contrasting to everything she’s made so far, we confidently think that this newest track has the most classic and warm country feel of the bunch. Showcasing her dynamic vocals through and through, spliced in with seriously compelling lyrics, and an instrumentation backbone that just doesn’t give up, it’s a winner for sure. Her previously released singles like “Only Me I Know” and “Free” were wonderful, don’t get us wrong, but the extra bits of country charm featured here are unprecedented compared to the rest.
At just a little over 3 minutes in run time, this is the type of track that’s just begging to be replayed over and over. It’s memorable, easy to sing along with, and will definitely translate well in a live setting.
