Guaranteed to make you feel emotional and inspired, Holy Life Family have just delivered an all new extended song titled “Baholo Manyeloi”. Please read on for our full thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the project.

Originally written as a form of worship, South African Christian worship group Holy Life Family have given us all the feels with their newest song, “Baholo Manyeloi”. What is supposed to be about joining in continuous worship with the elders, Angels and Creatures of heaven in direct worship to God, is really something powerful that’s sure to hit hard whether you’re religious or not.

Meaning “Elders and Angels”, “Baholo Manyeloi” was written to be a source of comfort for those not quite feeling themselves during these wild times we’re all living. Clocking in at just over 13 minutes, this really does feel like it takes twists and turns instrumentally, but the driving constant from start to finish is the overwhelming feeling of a good natured message. No matter what language you speak or religion you believe in, you can’t downplay the immense amount of passion and power brimming on this long and wonderful single.

As this was our first foray into the music of Holy Life Family, we can 100% envision ourselves doing a deep dive to really see what else they’re capable of. There’s nothing gimmicky going on here in terms of production or instruments, but really the entire group is capable of creating a uniformed sound and everyone seems to know their place. It’s wonderful to know that this large group of individuals can single handedly bring so much warmth to those who witness it in person, but to also have the ability to impress those at home.

All that being said and of course we’ve got to give this a resounding suggestion that you give it a spin. Holy Life Family has so much more music to enjoy too, so please check out the links below in order to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for more!
