Holly Wild teases her EP with exciting new single, "Thrill of It"

Currently based out of Australia, Holly Wild is a singer, songwriter, and composer who’s directly infusing a different energy into all the art she’s making. With an EP on its way sometime in the second half of this year, she’s geared up thus far by giving old and new fans a taste of what’s to come. Her newest endeavor is a song called “Thrill of It” and is directly lead by impassioned vocals, vivid instrumentation, and an overall immersive feel from start to finish. Truly, we can’t wait for everyone to give this a spin.
On the background of it all, the song is “about the chemistry that you feel with someone that you shouldn’t, but there is an addictive electrification that you get when you are with them”. There’s something about wanting what you can’t have that makes the desire crank up to an all time high and this song has so eloquently painted the all too relatable situation. The danger of it all comes across clearly through Holly’s lyricism that slowly unravels the problem, but unfortunately it’s a situation that you just can’t forget about once you realize you’re in it. No matter if you’ve been there or not, the artist has given the listener a glimpse into her life, and we feel that more glimmers will be showing themselves closer to the EP release.
As mentioned, the production and instrumentation shown here provide a great deal of suspense given the topic. Holly’s vocals top off that dramatic feeling with her vocal delivery and she literally keeps you on the edge of your seat as the song goes on. You never expect to feel so involved in music when the artist is a “stranger”, but the way she’s composed it all immediately has you worried about the ending. Ultimately “Thrill of It” feels like the complete package of what a consistent pop song should sound like today and we couldn’t be more happy with how it turned out!
