Heather Youmans delivers breathtaking vocal performance on "Worth It"
Making the world a little bit brighter with her all new single titled “Worth It”, we’re beyond thrilled because Heather Youmans is back and better than ever. Please read on for our full analysis of the track, as well as a much needed refresher on artist.
Best known from the Flicka 2 soundtrack and Season 1 of Fox’s singing show “I Can See Your Voice,”, we know her from her consistently amazing music releases. As much as we absolutely loved her last single “A Little Closer To Happy”, she’s gone ahead and one upped herself with her latest output, “Worth It”. Accompanied by a music video that we recommend as well, the entire presentation of it at all has been nothing but flawless.
On the background of “Worth It”, Heather chronicles the journey of two lovers, who despite their differences and life challenges, always find a way to 'make it work’. Featuring her real husband in the music video (who the song is about), they’ve had a long term musical relationship going on 10+ years at this point. The entire premise of it all is almost too cute to handle, but really the message of it at all is something to take to heart for those that think all relationships need to be “perfect”.
Compared to the rest of her released music, this one completely stands out from the rest for a multitude of reasons. To begin, Heather’s vocals on this song are wonderfully powerful and almost commanding in the sense that she instantly reels you in with her words. As vibrant and nearly upbeat as the instrumentation is, there’s something about waiting for her to hit those highs that keeps you laser focused on every line she delivers. That’s not to say that anything else lacked in the song, rather we listen to Heather Youmans music because we know she’s bound to impress with her best instrument.
On the production side of things, another stellar representation of what a well polished and ultimately clean sounding song should sound like. The structure was all there, no one overstayed their welcome, and the replayability factor here is at an all time high. When we need an extra dose of emotion in our lives, we know full and well we’ll be headed back for multiple listens of “Worth It”.
