Glenn Valles pens a lyrically impressive song titled "A Troubled Mind"

Currently based out of Mumbai, India, Glenn Valles has been making consistent waves within the songwriting community as of recently. With an award given for "Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting" at The Great American Song Contest earlier this year, Glenn Valles has released his latest single "A Troubled Mind". We must add that while he is not the vocalist on the song, his lyricism is right at the forefront of the music and the singers have brought real justice to his heartfelt words. We’re highly recommending everyone check it out as soon as possible.
On the background of it all, Glenn has stated, “mental health is quite a concern these days and is a subject that goes unspoken more often than not. This is a song about weathering the various “storms” in our lives. It's a very unique and intriguing blend of genres; Blues, Rock & Rap”. There’s so much going on stylistically in this song with its diverse usage of styles, multiple vocalists, and a real bright sounding instrumentation. However, there’s an official music video that’s accompanied it (linked below), that we would also urge you to watch as it sincerely brings life to the words at play. Glenn has so eloquently put forth his thoughts on a serious matter and it’s great to bring it all to life in a rich visual environment.
We do need to give credit where it’s due as well, mainly because all collaborators involved in this project have done a wonderful job in bringing their best into the mix. Words are only so powerful if they’re not sung in a way that features conviction and sincerity, but you can really sense the immense amount of passion through the vocal delivery. It adds an unfounded layer of complexity and feels more like a thoughtful poem than just words on a page. Glenn Valles has done his best to communicate this message and ultimately the final product has been flawless.
