Gianluca Todisco delivers stellar single & video for "Hollywood"
Pivoting his sound slightly from what we’re used to, but ultimately falling in love with it on first listen, we’re overjoyed with “Hollywood”, the newest release from Gianluca Todisco. Keep reading for our thoughts on the track, as well as a background on this talented artist.
For literal years now, we’ve been keeping a close eye on the music of Gianluca Todisco, and he’s never disappointed us once. On his newest single “Hollywood”, that fact stays true as he’s switched up his sound and style a bit, but it still holds that signature essence of what makes him so great in the first place. With a music video to accompany the song (linked below), it’s seriously the whole package of what we expect from this artist that is the embodiment of creativity and electric spark. Of course, we’re urging everyone to check this out immediately.
Originally from Italy, but now based in Los Angeles, Gianluca has been adapting to that “Hollywood” lifestyle for some time now. Now while the song itself is relatively short at right around two minutes in length, what it does do is packs a punch in its demeanor, production, and attitude. Although listening will give you that feeling, the music video really amplifies his artistry as a whole. With help from Italian choreographer Federica Rizzo, the two collaborators pulled out all the stops to bring “Hollywood” to life. On the background of it all, Gianluca says this song “shares a strong message of self awareness and believing in ourselves, taking care of our self esteem and the balance between the body and the mind”.
Plain and simple, living in Los Angeles can be intensely difficult as an artist, creative, and individual. The edge that this song brings, along with its vivid lyricism and visual, is that no goal is too far to reach as long as you align yourself to get there. With every musical release from Gianluca, he’s always thinking outside the box in terms of creativity and making sure his music packs a punch and imparts being memorable. Though it’s only two minutes, he’s more than succeeded in our minds, getting this song stuck in our head with its anthemic qualities and his confidence that oozes through in the vocal delivery. We love it and we think you will too!
