Jam-packed with attitude and her signature essence, Gabrielle Ornate is back at it again with a monstrous new single titled “Free Falling”. Read on for our in-depth review of the track, as well as an update on this artist.

Continuing to carve out a niche for herself within the crowded Pop and Rock genre, Gabrielle Ornate is turning heads yet again with a new one called “Free Falling”. Self-describing it as fiery, we can’t help but confirm that statement considering this song takes off from the opening notes. While it certainly capitalizes on her many talents such as strong vocals and clever instrumentation, it’s another evolution in her ever changing sound. Without a doubt, we’ve got to urge all the readers to give this one a spin as soon as possible.

At just a tad under three minutes in length, Gabrielle doesn’t waste a single second immersing the listener into her atmospheric world of sound and style. As always, she leads the charge with emphatic vocals that set the base and the stage for the rest of the song to follow, but “Free Falling” has hit us a little bit different than her discography of the past. We mentioned earlier that this song is packed with attitude, and although her vocals definitely add to that confirmation, a change in instrumentation has led us to believe this might be a slight pivot in sound. Through a similar production of previous singles, there were tone shifts in the electric guitars that might have been our favorite parts of this song to be honest. The reverberation effects included added such a welcomed depth to the song that it immediately drew our focus.

Although the vocals and instrumentation show themselves right at the front of the song, Gabrielle really does pride herself as being a talented songwriter. Your direction is getting pulled in multiple directions as “Free Falling” thrashes you around, but when you give it multiple listens, don’t forget to actually connect the dots of what this song is about. This one is another step in the right direction for the artist, and if for some reason you’ve yet to explore everything else she’s made, what are you waiting for?!
