Freddie Wahter outdoes himself on incredibly creative single, "meet the maker"
Dripping in original rhythms and complex beats, Freddie Wahter has served up another sensational single with the release of “meet the maker”. Please read on as we take a closer look into the single, as well as a background on this artist.
Dabbling in art, fashion, and technology, Freddie Wahter has undoubtedly shined the brightest thus far in his music career and the immense creativity he’s brought to the scene. On his newest work titled “meet the maker”, he’s continued to push the boundaries within the realm of his production and what we thought was possible of his creations. If for any reason this happens to be your introduction to the artist, we’ve found this to be an ideal jumping off point in order to explore the rest of his discography.
Coming in at just a tad over two minutes in complete runtime, our only real “complaint” is that we wish it were at least twice the length. Immediately, Freddie immerses the listener into a fast-paced, seemingly out of control environment that’s filled with succinct drumming and inventive sampling. If we had to provide one recommendation off the top, it would be to give this a spin with a nice pair of headphones or soundsystem. Truly, there’s so many subtleties within the mix that you might otherwise miss out on if you’re not listening closely. Though it’s shorter than we’d like it to be, there’s absolutely no doubt that he’s kept the quality incredibly high with everything that’s involved.
As a pioneer in the world of visual art, having had his work featured at London’s Filet Gallery, Freddie Wahter so clearly has an unmatched artistic vision that the rest of the world is finally catching on to. No matter where you happen to have discovered him, whether it be his music, art, or any other miscellaneous projects, the talent is looking you straight in the face. While 2022 was certainly jam packed with a ton of singles, including this one, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that somehow 2023 is going to top last year with everything else that’s in the works. For now, introduce yourself through this track as soon as you can.
