Feroxx shares riveting single & video for "Run"
With an all new single and accompanying music video for Feroxx’s latest, titled “Run”, she’s left us with our jaws on the floor and an almighty amount of respect. Please read on with us as we break down the latest track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Currently based out of Littleton, Colorado, Feroxx has single handedly taken the vast genre of electropop and infused her own flair into her latest output, “Run”. With a music video that has brought on a whole new life to a single that was already overwhelmingly beautiful, this artist is solidifying herself and in the process of making waves within an industry that relies on originality and creativity through and through.
With the help of her husband who lends himself to the drums, Feroxx is for the most part utilizing a studio that is fairly bare bones. With that being said though, it’s all the more impressive that something like this could come from a “lack of equipment”. With the added feature of NexKin on “Run” and even giving him a shining moment in the music video, we can confidently say that this 100% needs to be the next listen and watch in your listening queue.
Like so many who have struggled over the last year, Feroxx is a project that saw its beginnings during the COVID Pandemic. For the artist behind the music, she gave us some much needed background to her origins in which she said, “I never meant to become Feroxx. I started writing music to save my life. As I recorded more and more, one thing led to another. It was like, ‘You need a name. You need a brand. You need music videos"...and somewhere along the way, Feroxx was birthed”. Thankfully the time and energy was put in, because the output has been wonderful and it has set the base for something more monstrous as the artist continues to release.
Now we can’t help but obviously recommend a listen to the song itself, but seriously, the music video is so riveting that it also deserves your time as well. Lastly, as much as we loved “Run”, we also have to suggest you give the rest of her tracks a listen as well because not only are they great, but you can audibly hear the evolution in the sound.
