Incredibly immersive in sound from beginning to end, Feather has completely blown us away with the fresh release of his EP, We Are For Each Other. Please read on for an analysis of the album, in addition to a closer look at this talented artist.

Serving as Feather’s sophomore EP, we can confidently claim that this artist has taken a step into the future with something truly outstanding. The record is called We Are For Each Other and features inspired collaborations from artists like Sintra, Lockbox, SEGØ and more. With a production that is clearly next level and amplifies his skills all around, if this happens to be your introduction to feather, you’re in for a beautiful treat.

On the background of this album’s creation, Feather has said, “While still making music on my own, I began to experiment in collaborations with other producers making similar music. Working with another producer (and artist for that matter) incorporates a whole new influx of ideas and influences and inspiration that can be very tricky to navigate”. There’s obviously so much more that goes into making music of this caliber, but keeping things open to new ideas and experimentations has ultimately led to one of our favorite electronic EP’s of 2022. Artists are always learning and attempting to not make the same thing twice, but in the grand scheme of his discography, it’s hard to deny that this holds an immense amount of originality.

Coming in at 7 total tracks spanning right around 25 minutes, it’s this bite size piece of wonder that sucks you in on the opener “Glaciers”. Easily, you become one with this world of never before heard sounds and styles, all the while feeling like you’re floating due to the subtleties in the mix. Headphones are 100% recommended when giving this a spin, but it also takes a great deal of focus just to uncover the complexities hiding beneath the tracks. Specifically, listen closely to “Tell Me”, that one had us in a pure daze by the final notes.

All that being said and now it’s about time you take the opportunity to give this a listen. We’ve included the important links below to do so, plus you can follow along with Feather to stay up to date on all major news.
