On yet another successful single coming from Eva Westphal, we’ve quickly fallen in love with her latest output titled “She’s Mine”. Please read along with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

What started for Eva at 13 when she started writing her own songs has slowly blossomed into a slew of successful live performances and a discography that’s growing at a rapid pace. On Eva Westphal’s newest single “She’s Mine”, the artist has delicately painted a picture of a personal experience using imagery-filled lyricism that transports the listener into the world she’s created. Needless to say, we are highly recommending you give it a listen as soon as possible.

Inspired by the likes of Stevie Nicks, Amy Winehouse, Ingrid Michaelson, and so many more, Eva has still managed to impart a whole lot of originality in not only her vocal presence, but the style of music she performs. To point out because it’s impressive, Alicia Keys even complimented her “pure tone” while being featured on NBC’s The Voice. If that doesn’t make you want to listen in immediately, something is clearly wrong with you!

On the background of the song though, while Eva typically writes about mental health, girls, and college, “She’s Mine” is a love song in dedication to her girlfriend. As an advocate for LGBTW+ issues, this was released during Pride Month, and while it may be July now, is just as amazing and relevant as ever. The way that Eva has captured both the beauty of her relationship and shaped a song to evoke emotions out of the listener is unprecedented. There wasn’t a single solitary moment that left us feeling negative, rather enlightened and full of positive thoughts at all times.

While the song is somewhat stripped back instrumentally, it was preferred as it allowed Eva’s vocals to be the real star of the show. The focus comes directly on the message at hand, all the while the acoustics reverberate in the background creating the full package. We sincerely loved every moment of the track and think you will too! It’s never been easier to listen to the music of Eva Westphal, because we’ve linked everything important below for you to listen and follow along. Enjoy!
