After much anticipation leading up to the album’s release, Eric Erdman’s record Enough is finally out and we got the chance to sit down with the artist to hear all about it. Please check out our full interview below.

For those out of the loop, Eric Erdman is an Alabama-based singer and songwriter that has continually been impressing us as he’s been slowly releasing singles from his newest album, Enough. With the record just released on May 27th, 2022, we got the chance to sit with Eric for an in-depth interview that spanned topics ranging from its background, the recording process, touring, what’s on the way, and so much more. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll give it all a spin as soon as possible.

With a lengthy tour ahead of him to get Enough to the people, we can already feel the buzz rushing within the venues he’s going to be playing at. Coming in at 7 songs, spanning right under 30 minutes, Eric has put together a heartfelt record that spans genres from classic country, blues, Americana, and more. Of course it’s valiantly led by his smooth vocals that set the tone, but we’d be lying if we didn’t say that the instrumentation here is quite riveting as well. We spoke directly on how he's managed to create an album experience that’s feeling like a lost art, so our priority suggestion would be to listen to this in full from the start.

Our last review of Eric’s music was appropriately on the title track “Enough” which is actually the album opener. Reminiscent of some of James Taylor’s best works, it perfectly introduces the listener into his vast sound and style that changes throughout the record. We talked a bunch about his influences and upbringing around music, but for any artist out there, you’re always being inspired one way or another. He even shouted out some local artists in his scene that are surely worth giving a listen to as well, don’t miss that part!

With all that being said though, please go ahead and check out the links below in order to listen, follow along, and to keep up with everything else he’s got on the way. Enjoy!
