Emily Nicole shares an energy-filled single & video for "Sunset"
Stepping into 2022 with a majestic new single titled “Sunset”, Emily Nicole has put forth a thing of true beauty that we’re beyond thrilled with. Please read on for our full thoughts on the song, as well as a background on this emerging artist.
Inspired by nature and dance, Emily Nicole is creating music that embodies her ideals both lyrically and spiritually. Working together with her producer Nate Christy on the track, a full length album is set to be released in the summertime. Titled The Ocean’s Embrace, we confidently feel that “Sunset” was the perfect precursor and set up to what’s eventually going to be a full album experience. It should probably go without saying at this point, but it’s a song we’re highly recommending.
With a lyric video ready to be released in conjunction with the song (on Friday, 4/8/22 at 7:30PM EST), Emily’s going all out for a song that deserves it. As for “Sunset”, it’ll be quite apparent on first listen, but she’s truly put her heart and soul into this piece of art and the work shows undoubtedly. Inspired by a summer sunset and singing crickets, actually the same one featured on the single artwork, the song comes to life due to the subtleties in the production. You can even hear the sound of crickets singing right in the beginning.
Coming in at right around four and a half minutes, we also felt that Emily did a successful job of sucking us into the aura and vibe that the song gives off. Her vocals are the clear star of the show and that’s not a surprise, but the sweeping sounds and atmospheric notes present do a wonderful job of piquing the listener’s interest and not straying from the artistic style. “Sunset” is a piece of living art that can be enjoyed by any music listener wherever they may fall on the spectrum and that’s really why we think it’s a winner as a whole. The Ocean’s Embrace can’t come soon enough, but in the meantime, make sure to not miss out on the latest single.
