An adventure and wild journey through sound and diverse instrumentation, we are absolutely loving the newest record titled Stardust Genesis from EhRah. Please read on for a closer look into the album, as well as a background on this artist.

Following up his debut record Light Years to Echoes shared in 2021, the artist known as EhRah has returned with an absolutely stellar sophomore album called Stardust Genesis. Rooted in synthwave, this piece of art offers so much more in terms of immerse production, atmospheric elements, and beyond. From the opening notes we were hooked and honestly didn’t want to get off this ride until it ended. Of course, we’re highly recommending everyone out there give it a spin as soon as possible.

Coming in at 10 total tracks, spanning right around 40 minutes in length, Stardust Genesis legitimately makes the listener feel like they’re inside of a high intensity video game. Each track feels like it’s own little world of individual style, yet the entirety of this work is about as cohesive as it comes. With help from some seriously talented collaborators like LAU, Power Rob, and VENMC, you also get the opportunity to see what those up and comers bring to the table. Additionally bobthesheep and Aaron Scott lent their incredible instrumental skills to bring that much needed touch of guitar and bass into the mix. Clearly, EhRah knows how to pick them, which has to be the reason why this record stood out instantly to us.

When it comes to synthwave as a genre, historically we’ve always felt that it’s best listened to at nighttime, specifically for that dark feeling the synths give us. However, this has completely shifted our perspective due to more of the bright and vibrant feeling songs here, such as “Galaxy” and “A Little Time”. There were plenty more standouts, but with their 80’s influence attached, they add such a nice and deep complexity to the entire album’s listen. Everything feels different, yet that signature touch through the production comes through effortlessly. We haven’t yet had the chance to check out EhRah’s debut, but there’s no doubt in our collective minds it’s going to pop as much as Stardust Genesis has.

Without giving too much else away, we’re urging everyone out there to click the links below to listen, follow along, and of course to keep up with all major news. Enjoy!
