Inspiring with his songs of worship and praise, Eduardo Sagrero Muñiz has presented his wondrous debut album Viene el Mesias a Israel to the world. Read on for our positive review of the record and a background on this emerging artist.

For most of Eduardo Sagrero Muñiz’s life, songwriting has been a focal point. As a Christian artist that’s aimed to infuse aspirational lyrics into his music, Viene el Mesias a Israel is everything you could really want. It effortlessly mixes together empowering messages upon soft and relaxing acoustic instrumentation, not to mention Eduardo’s soothing vocals. Religious or not, we think everyone will find something to love here.

Coming in at 12 songs, spanning a little over an hour, Eduardo truly didn’t hold back when it came to crafting the themes. He obviously bases it around religion, but you’ll also find personal experiences, anecdotes, and important lessons he’s learned throughout his life. In its entirety, the record is sung in Spanish, but don’t let that avert you from hitting the play button. Even if you can’t connect the dots on the lyricism, there is legitimately a relaxing effect just by listening and taking it all in.

After writing primarily English songs for most of his life, his pivot to writing these songs in Spanish has been an effort to appeal to that community who enjoys these songs. In no world can we imagine someone listening to this and not immediately embracing the messaging or beauty of it all. No matter the language you read or write, there is a certain passion and real emotion that comes in on every single song. Some personal favorites that matched here had to be “Luz de Israel”, “No Siempre E Ganado”, and the seven minute closer “Amigo Fiel”. What you’re going to experience is quite extraordinary and it hits in a different way every time you listen.

Not to spoil much else, but please let us overwhelmingly recommend once more that you give a full and uninterrupted listen to Eduardo’s debut album. We’ve done the easy part and included all the important links below in order for you to listen, follow along, and to stay tuned for the inevitable follow up. Enjoy!
