Earthquake Weather surpass all expectations on debut, "You and I Forever"
Freshly released and overly impressing us with this debut single, Earthquake Weather have released their newest, “You and I Forever”. Please read along with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, as well as a background and origin on the artist as well.
With production influences from the greats such as Frank Ocean, Calvin Harris, Daniel Cesar, and more, Earthquake Weather have just dropped their debut track, “You and I Forever”. What’s going to be considered this summer’s love anthem is also going to double as a highly danceable track that deserves to be cranked up and vibed with as much as possible. For us, this one is a clear winner.
After a rough 2020, the motive behind Earthquake Weather’s music creation was to “create a musical piece that in hope can help inspire others to let go of the unnecessary, and materialistic temptations that life conveniently throws our way. To shed light to what is necessary; love , family and happiness is what inspires ‘You and I Forever’ to be a poetic tale of unapologetic unconditional love.”
Capturing the pure essence of 90’s R&B with glimmers of modern day EDM, there’s truly so much to love about “You and I Forever”. Specifically on this single and for it being an artist’s debut, the sky's the limit for the jams that we expect to be released after this one. It gives the opportunity to listen within the lyrics, the BPM is high enough to groove out to your feelings, and overall it was just a superbly well-rounded track from a passionate artist who knows what he’s doing on the production side of things.
The immediate question that popped up after our initial listen was, “when can we expect more?”. Mainly because the weather is beginning to heat up in our area and we need some more dance-centric tunes just like this! Of course we’d never rush an artist into putting out more music without the inspiration behind it, however we’ll just be patiently waiting over here for the follow up.
