Dyl4n Wood takes us through his new track, "Angel Wings" - Interview
Staying incredibly prolific in his releases, Dyl4n Wood has dropped an all new one titled “Angel Wings”! Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with the artist to hear all about it. Please check out our full interview below.
Currently representing the San Diego music scene, Dylan Wood is a 21 year old artist who’s making music that’s jam-packed with passion, emotion, and always aiming to highlight his personal experience. His newest song is called “Angel Wings” and it’s got a Hip Hop base to it that will undoubtedly make you want to come back for more. Of course getting to speak to him was the cherry on top of our listening experience, so we sincerely hope you take the time to give it a spin.
Self-describing his sound as “pop and melodic rap”, Dylan has also explored pop punk and has his roots set in underground emo rap. A lot of what we spoke about was obviously tailored to “Angel Wings”, but we covered a ton of topics ranging from where he might experiment with his music, what things are looking like in the next year, and a ton more. With a goal to heal others in the relatability of his music, we can confidently say that he’s on the right track of doing that so far. Considering his music comes from a personal place and is acting as an outlet to deal with it all, we urge everyone out there to listen with a purpose and actually make those connections within his lyricism.
One of the wilder parts of Dylan’s path as an artist is his immense release schedule, seeing a new song coming around every two weeks. Even if you’ve got zero knowledge of how the music industry works, you can probably make the realization that that is an intense amount of music coming. However the best part is that they’ve all been of high quality and are serving as stepping stones to bigger and better things down the line. If for some reason you’re unfamiliar or haven’t taken the plunge into his music just yet, we highly recommend you kick it off from the beginning.
