At only 25 years old, Duke tha Dog is making a name for himself within the hip-hop community, and we’re certainly here to see how much higher he can go. Considering he names his main influences as Tech N9ne, G-Eazy, and Blackbear, it wasn’t surprising to hear the greatness that came directly out of “Talk To Me”. When you’ve got influences as influential and original as those, there was no way Duke’s single was going to disappoint.

Now after you listen to the song, and love it, don’t be disappointed because there’s no music on the way. According to the artist, he is currently working on his second full length album titled What A Year. Well if that isn’t an extremely fitting title for the wild times we’re all collectively living through, then we don’t know what is. The upcoming singles include his new hit “Talk to Me” (feat. Jehry Robinson, H.A.V. and Kato”) "Born to Fly”, and “Supposed to” (feat. FR33SOL) who will be featured on the project.

If “Talk To Me” was any glimpse into how great What A Year is going to be, then we truly can’t wait to hear what’s next. One of the best parts about this single in particular, is the replayability factor. We’ve had it on repeat and it instantly found a way to all of summer playlists. It’s a happy hip-hop track that has some fantastic verses from talented features. Everyone’s flow is flawless and you can’t help but bob your head the entire time it’s playing.
