Dolly Ave shares bubbly single & video for "Play With It" featuring Charlie Curtis-Beard
Switching up her sound in a very positive way, an all new track from Dolly Ave titled “Play With It” has just dropped and it is fantastic! Read on for our full review of the single, as well as a refresher on the artist as well.
Following up her full length LP Sleep that we loved so much, Dolly Ave is back with a wondrous piece of pop music called “Play With It” featuring Charlie Curtis-Beard. With an upbeat production, bubbly vocals, and a frisky nature to it, there’s legitimately no doubt in our mind that this track is going to continue to put Dolly Ave on the map. Right off the bat, this is 100% a song we’re recommending you check out.
Exploring new angles within her overall sound, Dolly Ave says, “I wanted to write a fun song that didn’t take myself too seriously and showcase a different side of me” Compared to Sleep, this is certainly a different avenue explored, however it works so incredibly well. You’ll be singing along by the end of your first listen as it's just super memorable and the type of catchy that’ll have you sending it to all your friends.
Even better though, there’s a music video that has accompanied the single as well. It takes a song about sex and has turned it into a fun baking and dancing session, not to mention the immense amount of vibrant colors and eye popping cinematography featured.
