Discoid creates immersive listening experience on "Movable Objects"

Currently based out of Tel Aviv, electronic artist Discoid is consistently thinking outside the box when creating his intricate works. On his newest musical endeavor titled “Movable Objects”, he utilized only synthesizers and drum machines to craft together a signature sound for himself. Plain and simple, he’s managed to blow us away and we confidently think everyone out there is going to love this.
Influenced by some of the greats like Four Tet and Floating Points, his song “Movable Objects” has proved to be in a league of its own comparatively. As fans of the genre, we typically hold these types of songs in higher judgement, however every facet of it has become memorable in our eyes and ears. Coming in at just a tad over 10 minutes in length, Discoid didn’t confine himself to your average track mold, rather created his own world and atmosphere to help differentiate himself.
Featuring twists and turns that keep you guessing from start to finish, you’re about to experience 10 minutes of powerful sounds that you’re not going to want to end. Our suggestion here would be to put on your best set of headphones as to not miss out on the subtleties, mainly because the production was a major standout.
So much of what we loved about this song was the slow buildup to a massive climax and release. The song for us almost caused a bit of anxiety waiting for it to explode, but ultimately the wait was worth it as the song came full circle in the last quarter. Seriously though, there isn’t a negative thing or even a small critique we could point out here. Everything was expertly placed and executed. If you’re even remotely into electronic music no matter the genre, this is the single and the artist for you to discover.
