Introducing themselves to the world with a massive debut single titled “Demons”, Death Valley Paradise are set up for greatness down the line. Read on for a closer look at the track, as well as a background on the band.

Made up of Clarke Miller (vocals, guitar, bass), Euan Wilson (guitar, bass), and Cameron Black (drums), Death Valley Paradise are a heavy rock and blues band based out of Scotland. Influenced by some of the greats like QOTSA, Jack White, and plenty more, they’ve so effortlessly taken those inspirations and infused them into a completely unique sound. On their debut single “Demons”, the band has delicately put something together that goes hard and has a ton of attitude attached.

Recorded entirely by the band in a DIY setup, the final product truly speaks for itself on many levels. For us, it felt live in the sense that the energy is right at the forefront. You instantly imagine yourselves in a packed club, witnessing them shredding your face off with one guitar solo after another. There’s a certain edge that “Demons” holds that transports the listener to another dimension of sound, but with a futurism in the style that has set the base for more. Every musician in the band gets their personal moment to shine and there’s no overcrowding in the process either.

While the band describes themselves as creating heavy rock and blues, we seriously can’t wait to see that blues instrumentation come out with further releases. As this is the first official single to come thus far, we know they’re only gearing up for more, however it’s going to be quite the journey to witness the evolution. The creativity in the instrumentation is ever present, the vocals are powerful, and ultimately this song rocks from front to back. A sincere recommendation here would be to crank this one up as loud as it will go and let the music flow right through you. Considering we were just in Scotland, it’s a shame we didn’t get to see them in the flesh.
