Always innovating and furthering her sound in one way or another, Dallas Rodin has made a swift return with a total banger, “R.I.P.”. Read on for our glowing review of the track, as well as an update on this emerging artist.

Pushing the limits of genre fusion, but sticking to her signature sound, Dallas Rodin’s “R.I.P.” is an instant rush of energy to the senses. Delicately mixing elements from alternative rock and pop, she’s still managing to push the envelope of originality in everything she’s making. If you’ve been paying attention, we’ve been fans for a while now, but now’s your chance to join the fandom. This is a song you’re not going to want to miss out on!

We’ve said it before, but we’ll keep on reiterating it, the music that Dallas is making continues to have that special feel to it that not a lot of artists we review bring to the table. Her vision for creating a slightly heavier sound all the while being complemented with her soft yet empowering vocals is something that we’re not hearing a lot these days. Instrumentally, the massive boom of the drums and the crunch of the guitar isn’t something you’d normally expect for a pop track, but it so effortlessly gives this song an edge to really round out the style.

Like everything this artist has put out over the past year, you have a pretty great idea of what’s going to be delivered, but it still has that element of surprise. At just a little over three minutes in runtime, you leave the song feeling like you’ve just hiked up a mountain and all you really want to do is play it again and achieve that same high. When every facet of the song feels like a standout, that’s exactly when you know you’ve got a solid track on your hands. It also has us pumped up for whatever’s on the horizon as 2022 should undoubtedly be Dallas’ biggest year yet.

With all that being said, please don’t waste another moment not listening to “R.I.P.”. We’ve included the most important links below in order to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for more on the way!
