Introducing herself to the world with an awe-inspiring debut titled “Texas Broke My Heart”, Court Taylor is on the right path in her musical journey. Please read on for a closer look at the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

Originally from Georgia, but now living in Nashville to jump start her career, Court Taylor is a seasoned singer, songwriter, and performer who has downright wowed us with the fresh release of “Texas Broke My Heart”. Taking her personal experiences and turning them into heartfelt stories based around her divine vocals, she’s got plenty more on the way that we already can’t wait to hear. If this is your introduction to the artist, we urge you to check out the track as soon as you can.

Teaming up with Off The Row Studio to get this one finished up, she worked with producer P.T. Houston to bring this one to life. “Texas Broke My Heart” is just the beginning, but we can’t think of a better start to what’s going to be a blossoming career. As we feel that so much of country music stereotypically gets put into one bucket, the things that draw the attention are the storytelling skills. Sure, Court’s vocals fit the vibe of the song effortlessly, but the way that she can paint a picture with just her words and an acoustic guitar go to show that she’s the real deal. We’ll be super interested to see what a follow up sounds like and hope the sophomore single isn’t too far away at this point.

At right around four minutes, you immediately get pulled into the atmosphere of the story. Even though the song is relatively stripped back instrumentally, there’s still enough sonic elements to pique the listener’s interest and keep them engaged from start to finish. We won’t spoil the context of the song, so make sure to connect those dots right from the beginning.

With all that being said, Court Taylor’s debut single is one for the books and she should be incredibly proud with the final product. Stay up to date with her music and much more by checking out all of the important links below.
