Perfect for the summer months and beyond, Costella has made his way back with an immersive and well produced track titled “POOLS OF HONEY”. Keep reading for an in-depth look at the track, as well as a much needed background on this emerging artist.

At only 20 years of age, Costella is a psychedelic electronic artist currently based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Having been quite prolific with his releases over the course of the past year, this artist is effortlessly blending together a unique infusion of EDM, psych rock, Hip Hop, and even glimmers of folk. Each song we’ve experienced thus far is an adventurous journey through sound and style, but his latest “POOLS OF HONEY” is something laid back yet extravagant. Needless to say, we’re highly recommending all give it a listen.

Seeing as though Costella has been producing music since the age of 10, which is over the top impressive considering how difficult it is, the talent and forward vision shows. There’s so much more on the way such as a string of singles in September called “INDIGO SUMMER”, and even the announcement of his long awaited record, NEOTOPIA II. While we patiently wait though, let us tell you about the greatness that is “POOLS OF HONEY”.

At just a tad over four minutes in runtime, you’re immediately pulled into the soundscape and atmosphere that was deliberately created. Those blends of genres instantly show themselves, although they definitely lean more towards the electronic and psychedelic side of things, but we have to say that the vocals really provided a relaxed constant into the mix. As the song goes on, it’s almost as if you’re riding a wave of emotion that’s purposefully rising with peaks of emotion and passion coming from the production effects. We’d urge everyone to listen to this with a nice pair of headphones, otherwise you’d really be missing out on the subtleties that make it pop the most. Ultimately the song doesn’t get out of control, rather sets the tone for something we’d envision ourselves playing with a group of friends, cruising down the highway, or even just to chill at the beach.

All in all though, it’s got us incredibly excited to see what else is on the horizon, of which there’s a ton. Do yourselves all a favor and please check out the links below to listen, follow along, and of course to keep up with all future releases.
